Updated Regulations of File Hosters
In order to recover from the Megaupload disaster and the forum be kept organized and to avoid that this become in a Babel tower, The Central Box has chosen to Rapidshare, Hotfile or Mediafire as the preferred file hosters, so if you wanna upload your video to a different host you should make a mirror to any of this three, there are plenty of services that could spread your video to various hosters in one step such as mirrorcreator.com and uploadmirrors.com, so there's no excuse to not do it. This is also implemented to avoid some types of link stealing of which we had some reports.

If you use a mirror service, it is important that you publish the direct links from the hosters used along with the links of the mirror service in case it happens the same as with multiupload.com. (short links are not allowed) there are plenty of information on how to extract the original links from a mirror service in order to publish them.

Thanks but you seem to miss the point my friend. If you use services like this, you are supposed to post the direct links as well.

Mods don't appear to care about enforcing the rule, so actually no real point in having the new rules....
