And without proper description (no screenshot) + on uncertain servers (are the links still working?). I have not been able to view the old copy, but it may very well be inferior when it comes to clarity etc. VEVO has pretty decent copies, they are often upgrades to old VHS>>DVD transfer videos. I still think that the whole mp4 set provided by VEVO in 1080p should be here - that is, all the Toadies videos I uploaded.

I do not consider it a duplicate, just a different version. Can you provide me with a screenshot from the old mpg upload, to make a proper comparison? If the image really any better, I'll delete my post at once, of course. But I doubt it.


P.s. You haven't even made the effort to make a comparison.

You are the one who needs to make the comparison since you are the one posting the duplicate. However, I can say that the video that is already posted is "excellent" quality and the RS links are still working. Your VEVO video appears to be letterboxed to 16:9 which I consider it to be a downgrade not an upgrade. I'm not the one to decide if your "version" is a valid post. I was just stating that it is already posted.

No screenshot and "questionable servers" (even dead links) are not valid reasons for posting duplicates. Please read the rules carefully:

Alright, and I am sorry for acting out of line. I was trying to use my spare time and do some batch uploads for TCB, but I will need to think things over more carefully before posting future threads - to avoid downgrading videos or duplicates. This board is such a great vault because it's selective about the videos it holds and I will just need to remember that.

Should I really ask for this thread to be removed? I thought it could be seen as an alternative version of the older upload. But if you think that this is against the rules due to inferior quality, I'll let the Mods know. I'm still learning how to move around this board, you see...
