Markus Mörl and Mark Jefferis founded T.X.T. after the end of the German New Wave era in 1985.
Their first single "Girl's Got a Brand New Toy" was a clubhit in Europe (reaching # 4 in the Italian chart).
However, the follow-up singles (Cold As Ice and Hot Was The Rainy Night) where less successful.
Their album barely sold, and after only two years the project called T.X.T. was ended.
